Raw Video Robbery Suspects Make A Failed Run

The Sheriff's Office Manatee County reported that they were involved in a high-speed chase after an armed robbery Thursday, October 13, 2011, about four hours in the 5100 block 30th Street East, Bradenton.

A sheriff's report said deputies responded to a robbery at the site above. According to the victim, she was on her way back to 5299 East 33rd Street McDonald. McDonald left the victim and the driving west on 51st Avenue East. The victim approached 30th St. and stopped at the intersection of four lanes.

While stopped at the intersection, two of the four men in black approached the victim's car. One of the suspects approached the driver, pointing a gun at her. The suspect demanded money from the victim and fired a shell into the air. The victim said she gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money. The suspect took the money and fled. The victim was not injured.

A little later, the suspect vehicle near East I-75 and SR70 and deputies began pursuing the car north on I-75.

Deputies attempted a traffic stop with negative results. The ongoing quest for several miles to the north on I-75. The suspects off the road to SR 64 and then reinstated.

The chase continued north on I-75 to Hillsborough County. The chase continued to exit # 246 (Big Bend Rd). Stop sticks deployed HCSO near Big Bend and the suspects to stop and avoid punctures continued to flee.

The suspect continued west and made sticks HCSO stop again near U.S. 41 and Riverview Rd Two tires were now flat on the suspect's vehicle and eventually stopped at U.S. 41 and the Riverview Rd four suspects were detained without incident. The four suspects involved all have cash in their possession. The suspect vehicle, a Dodge Intrepid, believed to be stolen in Tampa. No weapons were found at the scene, but the car had not been treated as the date of release.

The suspects were Demario Murray, 24; De'Eric Moore, 17, Antwon Moore, 22, and Timothy Jefferson, 20. The four are from Tampa.

Three of them were booked in the Hillsborough County Jail on charges of armed robbery / pursuit. De'Eric Moore was taken to the booking facility for juveniles in the county of Hillsborough.
