Records of the miraculous landing on October 18 became a sensation on the Internet and Facebook page Shahbazi (http://www.facebook.com/shahbazi200) has attracted hundreds of new friends.
The IR-742 flight from Moscow Sheremetyevo airport was close to Tehran Imam Khomeini that the crew did not get a down and locked indication for the front and a missed approach.
After unsuccessfully to troubleshoot the crew decided to divert the Mehrabad airport in Tehran, where a low approach confirmed the front did not spread. The crew made a landing without front and came to a stand still on both main landing gear and nose of the aircraft. The plane was evacuated, no injuries occurred.
