4.7 Magnitude Oklahoma Earthquake November 2011

An earthquake magnitude 4.7 at 2:12, with an epicenter six miles north of Prague in Lincoln County. It is about 50 miles east of Oklahoma City and 75 miles southwest of Tulsa.

A scale replica of 3.4 was recorded in the same location at 2:27, and a replica of magnitude 2.7 at 2:44

Oklahoma Geological Survey scientist Austin Holland told Oklahoma City television station Kotva as earthquakes and aftershocks occurred in a known fault line.

The inhabitants of Prague and Sparks felt a strong vibration, while farther away, the earthquake was more than a dull roar, he said.
